The Guru Mosque Project in Pekanbaru, Riau, features an Islamic design with geometric, unique, and dynamic elements. It adopts a modern, minimalist style with green architecture principles. The façade and supporting pillars are inspired by Islamic forms, while the mosque’s minaret mimics the shape of a Quran pointer and has twisted walls. Palm trees are incorporated to evoke a Middle Eastern ambiance, complementing the overall design.
The mosque is also equipped with a skylight on its roof, allowing natural light to flood the interior, creating a serene and visually appealing atmosphere. This blend of traditional Islamic elements and modern design offers a harmonious and peaceful place for worship.
